Over time I have been snapping up all the gamecube resident evils so I can play them on my wii.
Today I managed to get resident evil 2. I was playing through the beginning section when I noticed a mini cooper painted exactly the same as mr Beans. I dont know if this was deliberate or you could actually get minis with that colour scheme but I found it amusing.
I cannot recall noticing this when I had the game on the playstation, maybe I was too busy being scared at the time.

Want to make your slime look alot better in your portal maps?
Then use this prefab.
Mist
It uses the same mist settings as valves so you will have authentic looking slime.
To use it in hammer put it in C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\user\sourcesdk\bin\prefabs.
Then go to the block tool change to prefabs and select it from the list on the right.

Just For Fun is a sandbox map for you all to play with.
It only has one room right now but its pretty funny to play in. I will add new rooms as ideas make their way into my head.
See how many zombies you can squish with ordinary household objects!
Enjoy
Download here!
And here is a video!

To make a cube create an entity of type prop_physics_override.
Double click on it and press the button by world model.
type box into the search and portal into keywords and you should find it in the list.
Or just paste models/props/metal_box.mdl into the world models box.
Set the skin to 1 to get the companion cube.

Heres some more tips for mapping in hammer that you might find useful.
- When in the texture browser type portal in the keywords box to get only portal textures.
- The same can be done when searching for a world model for props.
- Apply a layer of fog over the sludge to make it look MUCH better.
- If you are using the func_nullportal_volume method to stop portals. You can hide them all by going to Maps -> entity report then selecting all func_nullportal_volume entities.
When they are all selected press the button that looks like a red wireframe cube at the top and create a group for them.
From then on you will be able to toggle their visibility by checking and unchecking the groups box in the visgroup section on the right.
- To make a turret create an npc_portal_turret_floor. To do this press the entity button and scroll down to it in the objects box on the right.
